1. What the site provides
Speedometers.live offers free browser-based tools that estimate speed, distance and related values using your device’s GPS and motion sensors, plus guides explaining how speed is measured. The tools are provided for general information and personal use.
2. Safe and lawful use
- Never handle your phone while driving or riding. Set up any tool before you move, use a secure mount, and follow local laws on devices in vehicles.
- Always obey posted speed limits and traffic laws. Your vehicle’s speedometer remains the legal reference for your speed.
- Only test top speed or acceleration where it is legal and safe, such as on a closed track.
- Don’t use the site to break any law, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access it in ways other than through its public pages.
3. No guarantee of accuracy
GPS readings depend on your device, its settings and your surroundings, and can be wrong or unavailable. Results from the tools are estimates and must not be relied on for safety-critical decisions, legal proceedings, navigation or medical purposes. See our Disclaimer for details.
4. Content and intellectual property
The text, tools, images and design of the site belong to Speedometers.live unless stated otherwise. You may link to any page and share short quotes with a link back. Please don’t copy whole pages, tools or images, or republish them as your own, without permission.
5. Advertising and third-party links
